Your role in the story

As a training planner at Heerema Marine Contractors, you will work in a dynamic environment where you don't have two days which are the same. You are able to switch quickly and anticipate unexpected situations. Your work is structured and precise and you know how to set the right priorities.

You are responsible for planning and coordinating mandatory and voluntary training courses as efficiently as possible. You also check in advance what else you need to arrange. What is the employee's place of residence and is a hotel accommodation required, for example? In doing so, you liaise with our staff from both the fleet and office to coordinate the planning and make any changes. You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of various training courses and identifying and resolving any bottlenecks.

In this position, you not only work closely with colleagues from your own team, but also with colleagues from, for example, the Crewing and Recruitment department. You also have contact with internal and external trainers and are the first point of contact for employees who have questions about training courses.

What you will be working on

• Provide administrative support and advice to office personnel and the seafarers with regard to Offshore/STCW/GWO regulations, and general training requests;
• Schedule employees according offshore vessel schedules and make complex training planning for groups of employees;
• Make travel arrangements including flights, hotel and transport;
• Ensure the accuracy of the information in the HR and crewing systems, e.g. by creating reports and follow up on findings and listing trainings in our learning system;

Is this the job for you?

• Available for 32 - 40 hours per week
• At least 1 - 3 years of experience in an administrative function in the Offshore industry
• Knowledge of the Offshore training requirements and regulations;
• Experience in working with SAP HR and SAP LMS is an advantage;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
