Verint is a global player in customer engagement management software and workforce management for contact centers. NN uses various Verint modules for different purposes, where you as a technical functional administrator will become the specialist.
An example where Verint is central is in NN's leading Automatic Call Logging project. The implementation of ACL is spread over different teams with different techniques. A phone conversation is recorded in Genesys Cloud (Omni team), the recordings are converted to text using Verint (Verint team), then transcription via Microsoft Azure to Openai (ChatGPT) is sent, which summarizes it (Data Intelligence team), and finally the summary is stored in Salesforce (Salesforce team).
As a technical functional administrator in the Verint team, you are the point of contact for information or change requests, including user management and configuration changes, which you handle using an Agile framework (e.g. Kanban) in consultation with your Product Owner. As an expert, you are willing to explain to users and act as a link between users and suppliers on the one hand and IT staff on the other. You take full ownership of incidents and communicate about them according to the Incident Management process.
You are fully responsible for the operational functioning of Verint. The Verint team will have to solve the more difficult technical problems independently. For more complex requests with or in Verint, you use Javascript to build them. You also use the available Verint APIs to maintain links and build monitoring with alerting.

The Verint team is a self-organizing team within the Customer Contact Experience domain of Customer & Digital. In this domain, we strive for the most effective and efficient customer service for NN, via phone, email, chat(bot), and nn.nl, to approximately 5 million customers in the Netherlands. All contact centers of the various business units of Nationale-Nederlanden can rely on our expertise and IT support. This way, everyone can serve NN customers optimally, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce costs. And we realize personalized and relevant services in an easy, digital way.
With you included, the Verint team consists of 2 administrators and a Product Owner. The same Product Owner also divides his time to the Omni team. So there are colleagues who can support you, but some independence is also expected. You report to the Engineering Manager who supports you in your career. We work partly in the office (within walking distance of Den Haag Laan van NOI, Den Haag Centraal) and partly from home.
