Are you seeking to establish strong relationships with reputable retailers, both domestically and internationally? If so, as a Retail Account Manager at West Coast Supply Group, you will have the opportunity to do just that.

Within our fast-paced international trading team, responsible for over 75 countries within the FMCG sector, your primary responsibility will be managing relationships with our existing retailers, overseeing planning, and providing annual forecasting.

For our vibrant and multicultural Beauty division, we are seeking a dynamic individual with a sharp business acumen and a talent for identifying and securing new business opportunities. On a daily basis, you will lead business initiatives with retailers, introducing new products, devising strategies for special occasions, and more. You will have the flexibility to establish connections and open new retail accounts globally.

Consider a typical day where you:

Maintain and expand relationships with retail accounts (both online and offline) while monitoring account plans, product quality, and profitability.

Negotiate pricing, payment, and delivery terms.

Adapt based on analysis and reports to enhance process efficiency.

Identify new business prospects with both current and potential retailers.

Assume full responsibility for negotiations, deal closures, account planning, and managing annual forecasts.

Monitor, analyze, and report weekly and monthly results.

Desired qualifications and skills include:

Residency in the Netherlands.

Technical or commercial background (minimum of a bachelor's degree).

Ideally, 4 years of account management experience; background in retail sales or purchasing is advantageous.

Customer-focused, service-oriented, motivated, and proactive.

Knowledge of retail business and proficient account management skills.

Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, including familiarity with promotional marketing strategies.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach.

Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
